Do we know when He will come, so we need to prepare ourselves?
No, our Lord said I will come like a thief, so we don't know the day, neither the hour, repend now. By: thomas akanvese - October 09, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Ten Virgins

By the saving grace of Christ, we should be prepared and ready at all times to meet the Lord upon death or at the time of the second coming by giving our hearts unconditionally and fully to Jesus. By: Dee - June 15, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Ten Virgins

We can only live our lives, and be aware of the ways that God is working in our live. We must always live as if Jesus will return at any time, and pray that we are truly ready when He does come. By: Michael Stipa - June 13, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Ten Virgins

like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept. As we are waiting for the coming of Jesus, we should not be watching but doing the deeds of the kingdom of God by ivolving ourselves into the great commision '' Mathew 28 Vs 19-20''. We should not be sleeping but should be alert because the day of the lord is not known. We should hold on what God has reviewd to us and forge aheard. '' Philipians 13 Vs 12 -15'' We sholud always praise God and be ready to feast with our lord Jesus Christ. AMEN! not forgeting to repent and ask God to forgive us and sanctify our lives.'' 1John 1 Vs 8-9'' URL: http://www.jesuscentral.com/lerning/course/myclass/php By: Christopher Banda - June 12, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Ten Virgins

Being watcheful.
I usually feel so sad when I think of these brides who are left behind, and God says that He does not know them-In my opinion, these are people in the church, but not non-believers!, who have been living a lie, and cheating the world that they are Christ`s.
I pray that I may be among the virgins who are found ready, and that nothing should stand in my way, to make me miss that important day! May the Lord God help me to be watchful! By: Agatha Maingi - June 11, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Ten Virgins
"Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who
took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and
five were wise. Those who
were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their
vessels with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom delayed,
they all slumbered and slept. But at midnight there was a cry,
'Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!' Then all those virgins arose, and
trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the wise,
'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the wise answered, saying,
'What if there isn't enough for us and you? You go rather to those who
sell, and buy for yourselves.' While they went away to buy, the
bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage
feast, and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins also
came, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us.' But he answered, 'Most certainly
I tell you, I don't know you.' Watch therefore, for you don't
know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
