Why is it so important to God that we forgive others when they sin against us?
Because the Lord wants to forgive us for our sins, therefore we should forgive those that have wronged us, or cannot repay their debts to us. By: Richard Warren - May 05, 2008 - Public Category: The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

FOrgive others
One sin that can forgive by God when we can`t forgive other people who trespass against us, as the Lord teach us in His pray.
Jesus also teach us to forgive 70*7 is have meaning there is no limit for forgiveness. As long as we are conceited then God can`t forgive our debts, cause our debts more than other people`s debts to us.
So if God forgive many of our debts why we do not forgive the people that have a little debts to us By: Spits Warnars HArco Leslie Hendric - June 26, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

Why is it so important to God that we forgive others when they sin against us?
We are suppose to love one another no matter what, and to forgive what others might have said or done against us. God doesn`t want us to hate anybody he wants us to love everybody as our own brothers and sisters. We are God`s children and we are suppose to obey his word day in and day out, By: Myra Gonzalez - May 27, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

Why is it so important to God that we forgive others when they sin against us?
It is important to forgive others when they sin against us because we ourselves are sinners and our sins were forgiven through Christ. To be Christ-like includes forgiveness. We are human, which means that we will sin. We would likewise want others to forgive us, so it is important for us to forgive others. Why is it so important to God that we forgive others when they sin against us?
Hello dear friends,
It`s really to much important that we forgive others b`se if Jesus didn`t forgive us, today we wouldn`t be here.It took the grace of God for Jesus to say that Father forgive them when he was on the cross because to me this would be the time I would pray the reverse prayer hadn`t been the grace of God that saved me like father punish them for torchering to this extend. But you he just forgave us yet it was us who were on the wrong side .And now being that the grace of God is made available to us we should forgive everyone who tresspass us or sins against us like how Jesus did. How many times shall we forgive our brother who sin against us?
Why is it so important to God that we forgive others when they sin against us?
God loves us unconditionally and he sent his only begotten son to die for our sins. When we forgive others we are obedience to God and obeying the commandment. I want to continue to be blessed so I will do what God expect of me. By: Charlotte Benton - May 21, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

Why is it so important to God that we forgive others when they sin against us?
It is so important to God that we forgive others, when they sin against us, because our God wants to save our souls by forgiving us and showing us the right way as we see in the Lord`s prayer - Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Only when we forgive others can we be forgiven by God and save our souls. By: Lavina Noronha - May 21, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant

The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
It is something that is in the Bible and you are to do what the Bible says if you are a good Christian. Also to get to Heaven you need to do right. By: Julie Rainey - May 20, 2007 - Public Category: The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
Then Peter came and
said to him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I
forgive him? Until seven times?"
Jesus said to him,
"I don't tell you until seven times, but, until
seventy times seven. Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven
is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his
servants. When he had
begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed him ten
thousand talents. But because he couldn't pay, his
lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that
he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down
and kneeled before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will
repay you all!' The lord
of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave
him the debt.
"But that servant went out,
and found one of his fellow servants, who owed him one
hundred denarii, and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat,
saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
"So his fellow servant fell
down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I
will repay you!' He
would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back
that which was due. So
when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry,
and came and told to their lord all that was done. Then his lord called him in, and
said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you
begged me. Shouldn't you
also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?'
His lord was angry, and
delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to
him. So my heavenly
Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from
your hearts for his misdeeds."
