Jesus did not want to do miracles outside of Israel, yet the woman`s faith and persistence led to healing. What do you learn from this?
That the cries of our heart never go unheard. The more we crave His help the stronger the Faith. Pleading for help humbly conscious of our weakness - not demanding to be let in with shoutings and heavy knockings on the Door ''pride''. Pleading to be helped, raised back on our feet and helped along toward that Kingdom where Jesus prepared a room for each of us. One day.

The reason why Jesus heals the woman`s daughter is because Jesus is compassionate towards us. Jesus wants to care for us since we had faith in Him. I learned that having faith, we can moved even the mountains.

The faith of the Syrophoenician Woman
A woman faith and her persisting prayer is a good example to us we Christian. We can learn on this lesson on our unhopeful situation or in our unanswered prayer that we will never be discourage, that we keep on going, trusting, perservering faith and prayer to God. God is faithful to His promises, He will never leave us nor forsake us, He will come in a right time and never be delayed.

The Faith of a Syrophoenician Woman

From there he arose, and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house, and didn't want anyone to know it, but he couldn't escape notice. For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet. Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter. But Jesus said to her, "Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
But she answered him, "Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs."
He said to her, "For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter."
She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
