Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward?
By forgiving a man`s sins first, the man learns to love and respect Jesus as a prophet. Then, after he has learned to do to, Jesus heals him in all honesty and power of the Lord so as to help him become a follower and believer in the truths of Love as set out by God and Jesus!!!!!! Amen!

Why did Jesus forgive the man`s sins first, and heal afterward?
Sin is the root cause of all misery. Because of the Fall of Man, sin entered into the world. And sickness is a result of that fall in a general way.He exhibited His authority to forgive by healing the man. Remember the scribes had been reasoning in their hearts that Jesus could not have the power to forgive sins because He was not God and only God has such power. And they were partly right. Only God can forgive sins. But they also acknowledged that sickness was caused by sin. Jesus had only spoken the word that this man's sin was forgiven. He had done something which could not be seen. If He really had power, then let Him heal this man.so jesus manifests his power to forgive sin which cannot be seen, by the healing which can be seen.most of our problems have a root cause in sin which must be healed first before finding a solution to the problem, man`s deepest need is not for fairness rather it is for forgiveness.

Health of the soul first
Body comes second. Let your body die sacrifice it if asked but always save the soul. Death of the soul is the real Death the one that keeps us from eternal life with God and Mary and all the Heavenly Family.

Jesus Heals a Paralytic

It happened on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them. Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus. Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst before Jesus. Seeing their faith, he said to him, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."
The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"
But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts? Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?' But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralyzed man), "I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house."
Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God. Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen strange things today."
