What is the harvest, who sows it and who reaps it?
The eternal food the Word of the Father that he will the break and distribute. His own body too. It is also the souls they are called to fish: plant the seeds that some other disciple will reap in the future. It takes time and patience for the harvest. And attenntive cultivation and preparing of the ground. That is why many harvesters and sowers are needed to walk in that huge field that is the earth. What is the harvest, who sows it and who reaps it?
It is not the harvest of grain; it is harvest of people. Saints through their lives prepare spiritual seed of God`s work and they and their followers sow the seed. The seed takes time to grow. When it is grown the followers of God at that time can reap. Reaping means getting believing people to do God`s work. But they should not claim the honor for reaping and remember that people before them have sowed the seed. By: Makarand Phatak - January 09, 2007 - Public Category: The Disciples Rejoin Jesus

The harvest is saved souls - the sower is whoever plants the Word of Jesus in someone`s heart and the reaper is who ministers to those hearts and helps them find God personally and believe and give themselves to our Lord Jesus so they may be saved. What is the harvest, who sows it and who reaps it?
The harvest are the people of this world, Jesus ''God'' sows all the people on earth but now they are to be reaped they need the harvesters who are the disciples to tell them his words. By: Bol Joseph Agau - January 09, 2007 - Public Category: The Disciples Rejoin Jesus
At this, his disciples
came. They marveled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no one said,
"What are you looking for?" or, "Why do you speak with
her?" So the woman
left her water pot, and went away into the city, and said to the people,
"Come, see a man who
told me everything that I did. Can this be the Christ?"
They went out of the
city, and were coming to him. In the meanwhile, the disciples
urged him, saying, "Rabbi, eat."
But he said to them,
"I have food to eat that you don't know
about." The disciples
therefore said one to another, "Has anyone brought him something to
eat?"
Jesus said to them,
"My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to
accomplish his work. Don't you say, 'There are yet
four months until the harvest?' Behold, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and
look at the fields, that they are white for harvest already. He who reaps receives wages, and
gathers fruit to eternal life; that both he who sows and he who reaps may
rejoice together. For in
this the saying is true, 'One sows, and another reaps.' I sent you to reap that for which
you haven't labored. Others have labored, and you have entered into their
labor."
